This haunting quote I got from a β€œSilent Hill” movie.

I experienced it at the cinema years ago and was truly moved.

The film not only preserved a favorite game soundtrack but also left me with a haunting quote:

“Mother is God in the eyes of a child.”

Recently, I explored its psychological depth, finding terror in its beauty.

For those unfamiliar with the movie’s plot:

Silent Hill, a creepy town, mirrors a child’s mind, overcoming fears. In this psychological odyssey, the film whispers a powerful truth: a mother’s impact shapes a child’s world perception.

Rose’s journey symbolizes a child’s psyche, where a mother serves as a deity, shaping perception and providing safety.

Real-world mothers vary.

Not all mothers are as brave as Rose, ready to go to hell to save their child.

Some, like Christabella, seem righteous but create hell (often unwittingly).

In the worst case, a nightmare from the film can be a child’s reality. Even as they grow, the belief in this reality persists.

Why? Because

“Mother is God in the eyes of a child.”
